This position is based in either Seattle, WA or Denver, COThe Corporate Banking Relationship Management team is responsible foracquiring, orchestrating, and growing entire client and ecosystemrelationships; deepening relationships within the C-Suite; consultingon, and cross-selling, the entire SVB platform (i.e. Treasurymanagement, credit card, FX, Debt financing, private bank and wealthmanagement, etc.) to address client business needs; orchestratingcross-functional SVB teams to optimize the client experience; and buildingreal relationships to differentiate SVB with all key influencers in the techecCore responsibilities for the Vice President role will be working with leadersin market to cover the portfolio in the Pacific Northwest, Utah,Colorado, and Midwest markets.Supporting the positioning, advising, originating, selling andnegotiation of financing solution for Corporate Banking clients.Partnering with SVB Credit Solutions team to work through concept packages,underwriting and portfolio management of credit facilities and strategicconversation with SVB Credit partners including at times jumping in to helpwith modelling, memo write up and diligence calls with clients.Build deep relationships with existing clients at all levels of the financeand treasury team to ensure we have multiple contact points and are supportingthe client in all their needs. Ensure we are proactive on cross sellopportunities.Responsible for new business development, expansion of existingrelationships, and advancement of the SVB brand in market, includingidentifying and hosting unique events both for personal engagement, as wellas professional development in order to connect with clients, prospects,and relevant referral sources. These are done in partnership with in marketleaMaintain a pulse on the technology ecosystem, trends, and identify howthey would impact clients and prospects.Fundamental knowledge base of all non-credit related banking products,including FX, trade finance, liquidity, asset management, privatebanking, and cash management services. Expertise in proactively identifyingbanking solutions and products and developing and closing cross sellopportunities within assigned portfolio as well as managing internalstakeholders throughout delivery of platform to clients. Managing successfulbrand delivery to the client and act as a owner to follow through on clientneeds and building of relationships.Essentional FunctionsCross Sell and identify expansion opportunities on existing clientrelationships. Included in this is identifying and pulling in appropriateproduct partners and ensuring follow up and follow through of variousopportunities, maintaining regular contact with clients and helping runpoint on certain client cross sell opportunities.Working closely with market leaders and Credit Solutions team on managingexisting debt client relationships, helping identify and solve debtstructure, supporting through diligence and underwriting processes and othernew opportunities for existing clients.Provides support to MD and Director on building strategic relationships,building relationships at various levels within the company, and supportingnew business development.Maintain a pulse on the technology ecosystem, trends, and identify howthey would impact clients and prospects.Supporting MD and Director on preparing for client/sales calls, pullingpublic company information, reviewing and identifying questions/follow upitems and other research to prepare for sales calls, helping prepare pitchdecks, and identifying any open items needing to be addressed with the client.SkillsStrong relationship management and ability to engage with clients.Strong focus and ownership of the overall client experience.Ability to work with remote resources and take ownership of tasks to drive toresults based outcomes.Strong interest in the Innovation economy and Venture Capital/Private Equityspace.
