This position is open to Spring 2024 graduatesonly. This is an entry-level Technical Designer position inStructural/Mechanical Engineering group for Completions Engineering.Responsibilities primarily involve modeling and drafting of new andderivative versions of aircraft interior furnishings/payloads and wireharnesses as part of outfitting new aircraft using Catia V5 and AutoCad.Examples include custom cabinetry such as galleys, lavatories, closets,storage compartments, interior peripheries, water/waste systems,entertainment equipment installations, and seating installations. Thetechnical designer will also be responsible for creating models anddrawings installing the aforementioned commodities into the aircraft.Designers will create data consistent with industry accepted draftingpractices and company standards. Assignments are executed under thedirection of a senior engineer, Lead engineer, or Group Head to meet themanufacturing schedule. Additional responsibilities are outlined in thejob description and as assigned by the Lead or Group Head. Candidatemust be proficient in 3D modeling software, Catia v5 preferred.Experience with AutoCad also a plus. Education and ExperienceRequirements Associate\'s Degree in drafting, design, engineering, ormanufacturing technology required or equivalent combination of educationand experience sufficient to successfully perform the essentialfunctions of the job.
