　　The advertised hiring range for the Mechanical Engineer I is $64,560 - $80,700, with a maximum opportunity of up to $96,840 with tenure and strong performance.

　　The advertised hiring range for the Mechanical Engineer II is $75,760 - $94,700, with a maximum opportunity of up to $113,640 with tenure and strong performance.

　　The advertised hiring range for the Mechanical Engineer III is $84,720 - $105,900, with a maximum opportunity of up to $127,080 with tenure and strong performance.

　　The advertised hiring range for the Mechanical Engineer Senior I is $94,480 - $118,100, with a maximum opportunity of up to $141,720 with tenure and strong performance.

　　The advertised hiring range for the Mechanical Engineer Senior II is $101,360 - $126,700, with a maximum opportunity of up to $152,040 with tenure and strong performance.

　　*JOB PURPOSE: *The Mechanical Engineer position engineering calculations, analysis, design and construction support of mechanical components, equipment and may assist with project management activities related to the planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance and rehabilitation of hydroelectric generation plants and other utility facilities such as water/waste water treatment,  hatcheries, well fields,, etc. Plans, scopes, schedules, and conducts engineering work with technical guidance and oversight from supervisor or higher-level engineers.
