Description For this Collections Specialist job, we're looking for candidates who are natural leaders driven by a strong sense of accomplishment, and focused, detail-oriented thinkers with backgrounds in accounting, finance or business administration. This Collections Specialist role will be based in the Lee, New Hampshire region and will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire employment opportunity. 　　Responsibilities

　　Record all customer payments to the correct reports

　　Abide by all rules and regulations established by the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act

　　Administer all billing and reporting activities in response to deadlines

　　Identify delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, written correspondence, phone contact, and making arrangements for payment

　　Process bankruptcy filings in the correct manner when received

　　Ensure payments are processed

　　Act as liaison in maintaining quality customer service and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries

　　Maintain and update customer files to sustain data integrity

　　Handle inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence Requirements - AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred

　　Ability to analyze customer accounts and make decisions based on those analyses

　　Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

　　Prior experience working with accounting software

　　2-3 years of prior high volume collections experience

　　Command of consumer collections

　　Proficiency in call centers

　　Solid understanding of commercial collections
