　　Position Role Type:

　　The candidate will use their skills and experience to:

　　Support failure analysis including understanding variables related to assembly, test and overall system function.

　　Create and improve work instructions to build electro-mechanical assemblies and communicate directly to assembly technicians.

　　Provide feedback to design engineering on manufacturability of current and future designs.

　　Work in cross functional teams including operations, quality, design engineering, and supply chain to reach common goals.

　　Continuously improve the efficiency and yield of product.

　　Select and design tooling and equipment for use in production with justification of cost and reliability.

　　This position will also require:

　　Conducts detailed design work focused on the layout of assembly operations.

　　Plans the sequence of operations and develops specification procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.

　　Improves production methods, determines manufacturing capacity.

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

　　Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Experience with assembly integrating precision machine parts and circuit card assemblies

　　Ability to design tooling using NX CAD for use in production

　　Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, including ability to communicate with senior leadership and assembly technicians.

　　The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
