　　We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vintage VolkswagenAutomotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, youwill be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining aircooled and Vanagon Volkswagons, ensuring their optimal performance andreliability. You must maintain a clean workspace, and work well in ateam environment.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Conduct thorough diagnostics and troubleshooting of vintageVolkswagen vehiclesPerform repairs and maintenance tasks, including engine overhauls,transmission repairs, electrical system repairs, brake repairs, andgeneral mechanical workInspect and test vehicles to identify any potential issues or safetyconcernsUse specialized tools and equipment to perform repairs andadjustmentsKeep accurate records of repairs, services, and parts usedStay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements relatedto vintage Volkswagen vehiclesAssist in Restorations and EV Conversions.Requirements:

　　Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with vintageVolkswagen vehicles, from 1955 to 1979, and/or Vanagon from1980-1991Proficient in diagnosing and repairing air-cooled VW engines,transmissions, and electrical systems knowledge of Vanagon digijet,and digifant efi systems is a plus.Strong understanding of vintage Volkswagen mechanical systems andcomponentsExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyAttention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality workSelf-motivated and able to learn quicklyGood communication skills and ability to work collaboratively withother team membersOwn a comprehensive set of tools suitable for working on vintageVolkswagen vehiclesPreferred Qualifications:

　　ASE certification in Automotive Technology or equivalent experienceAdditional certifications or past experience in vintage VolkswagenrepairExperience working in a specialty auto repair garage focused onvintage vehiclesSheet metal fabrication and repair experience is a plusMachine tool experience is a plusWhat we offer:
