  The position:

  The Medical Research Associate performs study specific clinical procedures and maintains subject safety and data integrity for all studies

  This is a part-time position: 32-36 hrs/ weekly

  Responsibilities:

  • Ensures all study activities and procedures are completed on schedule in accordance with study protocol and relevant regulations.

  • Screens, collects, records, and maintains clinical trial volunteer information according to relevant policies and procedures.

  • Monitors subject safety. Collects and documents adverse events and study deviations.

  • Reports equipment malfunctions and maintains adequate stocking of clinic supplies.

  • Performs general housekeeping duties within clinical trial facilities.

  • Assists with screening potential volunteers by collecting bodily samples, monitoring vital signs and electrocardiograms (ECGs), wellbeing checks, and subject searches.

  • Assists with performing non-medical activities such as distribution of scrubs, leisure resources such as movies and games, and front desk tasks.

  • Monitors equipment malfunctions and maintenance and maintains clinic supplies and inventory.

  •Completes general housekeeping duties by cleaning patient beds, wiping bedside tables, organizing entertainment areas, and sanitizing screening exam rooms.

  • Developing knowledge of the drug development process

  You will need:

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Good knowledge of study database and computer skills

  • Understands and implements medical terminology

  • Clear understanding of subject safety and data integrity

  • Nursing or Physician Assistant Qualification
