SUMMARY
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for an Operations Manager at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Operations Supervisor, under supervision of the Senior Operations Manager / Assistant Director of Operations, directs and coordinates facility personnel, and daily activities involved in the successful preparation and execution of events at the facilities. Also, acts as liaison between the facility and clients, ensuring all clients’ requirements are met and facility rules, regulations and policies are adhered to.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure daily successful operational coordination of all facility activities by gathering and distributing event information from Event Coordinators, Food Service, Management, and other Operational Managers to all Operations Staff.
Supervises Operations staff and assist with all tasks at Paycom Center.
Monitor and make recommendations to the Senior Operations Manager / Assistant Director of Operations that events have the appropriate staffing numbers scheduled.
Research, review and recommend equipment, materials and supplies required in providing operational services and planning.
Coordinate service needs for building and event operational needs.
Assist in the preparation and the review of the Operations Budget and Capital Equipment needs.
Assist the Senior Operations Manager / Assistant Director of Operations in walking facilities and producing reports as needed.
Maintain the proper image among operational staff.
As necessary, make immediate decisions and communicate with all operational staff and other facility personnel in an emergency.
Assist in the preparation of the annual operating budget and recommend an annual capital budget for long-range maintenance and improvements to the operational processes.
All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree from accredited four-year college or university
Four to six (4-6) years related experience and/or training in the public assembly industry or in a supervisory or management position, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous experience in a professional sports environment preferred but not required.
Experience overseeing staff and equipment associated with building maintenance and operations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to this job:
Demonstrate knowledge in operational procedures, facility capabilities, industry terminology, event-related services and technical requirements for NBA basketball, and all other events at the facility.
Possess skills and experience in labor relations, purchasing procedures and supervising/training personnel.
Engage in much decision making that is generally governed by procedure and guided by policy.
Read and comprehend blueprints, drawings and other related materials.
Meet the physical demands of this job, which include being able to get in and around the facility (requires personal mobility), lifting, carrying, moving, climbing, working from various heights, and moderate to loud noises.
Operate equipment such as light trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, bobcat, scrubbing machines, or other light power-driven equipment.
Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with other in both oral and written form.
Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results.
Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons and others encountered in the course of employment.
Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.
Be licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle in the United States

Occasional bending, stooping, crawling
Frequent walking up and down stairs and work from lifts, ladders
Constant standing and walking for extended periods of time.
Frequent lifting/pushing/pulling up to 75 lbs. multiple times a day for items such as hockey glass, bike racks, stage decking and basketball court. Constant lifting/pushing/pulling items up to 25-50lbs
Eye-hand-foot coordination.
Hearing sufficient to clearly hear voices, alarms, bells and horns.
