The Position: Heavy Equipment Operatorworking as part of quarry operations to produce aggregate andconstruction materials. Quarry operations include maintaining andoperating the processing plant, (crushers, screens, wash-plants)operating loaders to feed the processing plant and assisting in thestockpile and load-out of finished product. Crush/wash Operators areresponsible for operating several types of construction equipment in asafe and efficient manner. This equipment may include, but is notlimited to, loaders, skid steers, water trucks, man lifts, dozers andexcavators Role and Responsibilities: Operate equipment in a safe andproductive manner. Perform routine maintenance and inspections of mobileequipment. Communicate plant site issues with the Foreman and MineManagement while performing daily inspections of the plant site.Maintain a clean and orderly work site including shoveling and skidsteer operation Assist in plant maintenance and repairs including laborwork, cutting, fabricating and welding. Follow proper safety procedures,including incident reporting. Other duties as assigned.
