　　MDSCoordinator Responsibilities:Ensure the completion of allMDSassessments and required documents are completed and compliantCreate a schedule for all Medicare and Medicaid.Start Medicare coverage for newly qualified patients or send out denial letters.Updated on changes in Medicare coverage and help determine documents needed for Medicaid reimbursement.Ensure that all medical records are fully completed and accurateAssists DON,ADON, social Services, and Administrator in developing and implementing patient care plan

　　MDSCoordinator Requirements:BSNfrom an accredited schoolHawaii State RN licenseCPR/BLSand First Aid CertificationMust have a minimum of 1 year ofMDSexperience and patient-driven payment models (PDPM) experienceMinimum 3 years of charge nurse in a Long Term Care setting; preferredKnowledgeable inCMSguidelines
