A few detailsabout the role: Participate with members of the interdisciplinary teamto review, plan, coordinate and evaluate resident\'s care. Documents theresident\'s condition and nursing needs accurately and in a timelymanner. Reports pertinent observations and reactions regarding residentsin a timely manner. Oversee and provide leadership and discipline tolicensed practical nurses and certified nursing aides. Develop, direct,and monitor nursing assistant assignments adjusting based on census andlevel of care required. Execute treatments as necessary while documentstatus and observes reactions to medications and treatments. Initiatephysician orders, verify all orders received are transcribed accuratelyin electronic records and treatment plan, administer medications, andprovide treatments according to orders. Facilitate communication withfamilies regarding change in medications and/or changes in the resident.Establish protocol to ensure care plans are continually reviewed forupdated and accurate data that represents the individuality of theresident. And here\'s what you need to apply: Nursing diploma orassociate degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program isrequired. A Bachelor\'s degree is preferred. One-year experience workingin a long-term care facility. Certifications and Registered Nurselicense and other licensure required by state regulations.
