　　Primary Function

　　The purpose of this position is to comply with the purchasing and expediting requirements of raw materials, following up on specific projects. It also maintains the level of inventories according to goals established by Management. It includes ensuring that the information in the system is correct and reliable as it relates to purchase orders.

　　Responsibilities

　　Evaluate purchasing requirements.

　　Plan purchase of raw materials.

　　Make sure there is the necessary material to meet the production plan.

　　Maintain adequate inventory control to ensure compliance with departmental indicators.

　　Calculate safety stock levels.

　　Provide support in the resolution of payment to suppliers.

　　Provide support in engineering changes.

　　Follow up on raw material obsolescence.

　　Prepare raw material demand forecasts.

　　Evaluate suppliers.

　　Get involved and follow up on specific projects.

　　Participate in continuous improvement projects.

　　Raw material reclassification according to ABC's

　　Qualifications

　　English 90%

　　Supplier Evaluation.

　　Inventory management.

　　Legal aspects related to purchases.

　　Management of computer packages (MS Office)

　　Continuous Improvement Methodology (7 steps)

　　Basic knowledge of CTPAT program

　　SAP system management

　　Bachelor's degree in administration or related field

　　3 years in a similar position

　　Education

　　Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Related Field

　　Years of Experience

　　Minimum of 3 years of related work experience or training
