　　The Material Handler/Operator facilitates the inbound receipt, transfer and storage of green coffee beans into storage silos. This role works closely with the Planning Team, the Roaster Operator, the Quality Team and the Logistics Team to carry out these duties. This individual is responsible for the safe operation of the green bean area handling equipment.

　　Duties:

　　Apply GMPs and standard operation procedures to all manufacturing processes

　　Perform product quality testing on incoming shipments before loading into silos

　　Ensure the accuracy of the amount of green beans ordered and received

　　Perform daily cleaning and dusting

　　Ensure continuous adequate supply of green beans for roasting operations

　　Perform checks on traps and pest line to prevent increase surges

　　Ensure moisture levels of green beans stay low and inform Quality of issues

　　When necessary, cover the roaster for breaks, vacations, time off etc¿

　　Support the implementation of area improvements and communicate information within area of control to ensure best practices and adherence to new processes

　　Position Requirements:

　　Must be flexible to work overtime

　　Ability to lift 154lbs and walk/stand/lift for long periods

　　Proven punctuality and attendance record

　　Some knowledge on MS Excel and Word

　　Performs other related duties and assignments as required

　　Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork

　　Knowledge of Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points and Good Manufacturing Practices

　　High learning agility

　　Demonstrated excellent attitude

　　Ability to continuously learn and apply new methods and techniques

　　Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

　　Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making concerning quality and safety
