JOB REQUIREMENTS: Company Generac Power Systems Name Material HandlerII - 2nd Shift - Materials 1020331 Req # 64139 Employment Type FullTime Shift 2nd The Material Handler II will be responsible for allmaterial handling needs, primarily picking warehoused parts anddelivering to assembly areas to ensure efficient production. Workclosely with production lines to ensure full utilization of people,materials, and equipment to meet customer demand. The Material Handlerwill be required to achieve company standards for safety, quality, andproductivity. Additional Qualifications: *Operate a forklift or otherequipment to transport materials within the factory *Practice safeworking habits, following safety guidelines to operation and support ofcompany initiatives *Enter/maintain/transact materials in Generac ERP*Ability to identify and resolve basic problems *Ability toeffectively work in a team environment. *Models positive andprofessional work ethics. *Effective communication skills *Providesolutions for optimum material flow from HUB (if applicable) to and frominventory storage areas including supermarkets to lineside. May alsoinclude flow of materials from receiving to shipping. *Must beeffectively cross-trained on multiple operations. *Ability to useadvanced troubleshooting within the materials environment *Expected totrain other employees in established processes *Contributes toimproving processes, lead times, through-put and cost. *Problem solvingskills and interfacing with other departments. *Strong communicationskills Preferred Qualifications: *Basic problem solving knowledge.*Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and math functions.*Intermediate PC knowledge *High level of attention to detail andaccuracy PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, theemployee is regularly required to stand.
