$40-$45/hr

　　Maxim Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Masters Level counselor or therapist to provide counseling to patient’s in an outpatient setting in New London County.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Provides necessarycounseling as required for the patient.

　　Assess the patient’s psychosocial needs, and evaluate the progresswith supervisor.

　　Collaborates withalldisciplines to plan andevaluate team goals for eachpatient.

　　Focuses on assistingpatient through dischargeprocess of both inandout-patient treatment facilitiesas applicable.

　　Utilizesa varietyof therapy techniques and treatment plans.

　　Facilitates patient progress andreferrals with otheragencies

　　Adheresto Company policiesand procedures when providingservices to patients

　　Observesand reports patient progress.

　　Performs other dutiesas assigned/necessary

　　Minimum Requirements:

　　Licensing/Certificationaccording to state/facility requirement

　　Masters in Psychology, Addictions,Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing, or some other Human Development major. They must have therequired licensing/certificationfor the specificposition if applicable.

　　Currenthealth certificate/physicalexam, as required by state regulations or client requirement specifications.

　　Current PPD orChest X-Ray (as applicable per state/client requirement)

　　Minimum of 2 years work experience, working with patients preferred.

　　Abilitytoeffectively elicit/provideinformation to and from appropriate individuals(including, butnot limitedto,supervisors, co-workers, clients)via strong communication skills;proficiency intheEnglish language may be required

　　Computerproficiency required

　　Must be at least 18 years of age
