  Job Description

  About the role:

  Responsible for Master Data entry, accuracy, and integrity within ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. Areas of focus include Item Master/Item Branch integrity, Bill of Material Structure, and Maintenance. Ensuring Planning parameters are set, Data Integrity monitoring and revision. Develop process (SOPs) for maintaining Master Data and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Provide and improve ERP functionality in Master Data and Production Planning. Responsible for the MRP-run, including standardized Forecast/MPS upload and planning schedule across the Branch plants. Responsible for reporting, analysis, and support activities within the supply chain organization and across the departments.

  How you will contribute:

  Maintaining and Supporting Global Master Data Standard.

  Master Data Maintenance within Item Master and Item Branch plants.

  Perform Item Master Set-Up.

  Setup Branch Plant specific fields that shall be maintained for all Branch plants.

  Maintain control, maintenance, and accuracy of Master Data items.

  Ensure deactivation of obsolete raw materials.

  Perform Item Branch Master Raw Material set up review.

  Maintain Master Data accuracy/integrity measurement.

  Bill of Material (BOM) structure.

  Ensure entry of new BOM structure complies with standard (where applicable) Branch Plant requirements.

  Ensure control, maintenance, and accuracy of active BOM's and associated items used in manufacturing operations.

  Ensure deactivation of obsolete BOM's.

  Perform annual Item Branch Master BOM review for accuracy.

  Define and standardize Branch Plant requirements for supporting MPS and MRP.

  Establish clear data definition for the respective fields in the ERP system.

  Maintain integrity of the MRP system and associated process.

  Standardized Forecast/MPS upload and planning schedule across the Branch plants.

  Ensure execution of MRP Planning activities are aligned with facility and divisional goals relative to sales and inventory levels.

  Perform MRP-run.

  Assure compliant documentation of Master Data in regards of SOX/GMP requirements.

  Support the collection and analysis of key metrics, and support initiatives to improve performance.

  Support Controlling in respective business with reports and analysis for other aspects of Supply Chain.

  Work with Department Manager in the establishment and implementation of long-term growth strategies and execution of tactical initiatives.

  Collaborate with a variety of departments at all levels, including Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Finance, Production Planners, and Material Planners.

  Lead the development of analytics, reports, and dashboard visualizations related to Master Data.

  Must be proficient in written and oral English.

  Must possess a firm conceptual and practical understanding of supply chain operations, with emphasis on ERP systems, Material Management, Bill of Materials, Inventory Control, and Product Flow.

  What you bring to Takeda:

  High School Diploma or GED plus 5+ years of related experience OR bachelor's degree in science, engineering, business, operations, Supply Chain or other related technical field. and 2+ years of related experience.

  Desired: JD Edwards enterprise system knowledge.

  Important Considerations

  At Takeda, our patients rely on us to deliver quality products. As a result, we must follow strict rules in our manufacturing facilities to ensure we are not endangering the quality of the product. In this role, you may:

  In general, the position requires a combination of sedentary work and walking around observing conditions in the facility.

  Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 10 lbs.

  May work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body. This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas.

  Will need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and/or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.

  May work in a cold, hot or wet environment.

  May work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers and Celite that may require respiratory protection.

  Required to work onsite minimum 60% of the time.

  Must be able to work off hours as required.

  Base Salary Range: $64,400 to $92,000. Employees may also be eligible for Short Term and Long-Term Incentive benefits. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Charitable Contribution Match, Holidays, Personal Days & Vacation, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and Paid Volunteer Time Off.

  The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors, including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
