Job Overview
The Associate Clinical Manager is responsible for managing a unit/departmentby implementing and maintaining specific policies, procedures, andguidelines; leading team members in providing direct patient care bydemonstrating expert clinical knowledge; ensuring compliance with qualityand safety initiatives and practices; and partnering with amultidisciplinary team in meeting the clinical needs of patients and familiesThe Associate Clinical Manager also provides leadership and management tounit/department team members. Finally, the Associate Clinical Managerserves as a charge nurse by preparing schedules and assigning team members topatients; overseeing the admission, discharge, and general flow ofpatients; and monitoring and ordering medicines and supplies.

Qualifications
EDUCATION - Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Master's degree in Nursing or adirectly related health care field is preferred.EXPERIENCE - Three years of clinical experience.LICENSURE - Registered Nurse (RN)CERTIFICATION(S) - BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association with atleast 6 months left before expiration is required upon hire. ANCC recognizedcertification in clinical specialty. Depending on the unit/department,employees may also be required to have a Pediatric Advanced Life Support(PALS), Adult Advanced Life Support (ACLS), and/or EmergencyNursing Pediatric Course (ENPC).
