Description The Massage Therapist will demonstrate competencies in various techniques including sports massage, deep tissue, Swedish, and therapeutic rehabilitation techniques to provide therapeutic services. The Massage Therapist will apply these techniques safely while providing comprehensive care to patients and athletes with referrals from doctors, physical therapists, and outside referrals. This is a part-time role working 32 hours a week. Hours vary based on clinical needs. Out of our Edina & Woodbury locations. Essential Functions: Provide high quality massage therapy to clients using scientific methodology with primary focus on improving client wellness Stay current with concepts and techniques specific to massage therapy Manage client complaints and customer service concerns relating to massage therapy while collaborating with supervisor when necessary to resolve Schedule flexibility to meet the demands of the business including split shifts, weekends, nights, irregularly scheduled meetings, etc. Maintain safe environment for staff and clients Any and all other duties as assigned Education and Experience Requirements: Degree or certification from accredited professional massage program Essential Requirements: Ability to: Comply with company policies, procedures, practices and business ethics guidelines. Complete job required training.
