About the Position

As a Developer specializing in Customer Data Platforms, your role will encompass comprehensive software development throughout the data domain. This entails overseeing various aspects such as project initiation, quarterly change requests, and addressing Level 3 production fixes. Your responsibilities will span requirement analysis, solution design, actual development, implementation, rigorous testing, and ongoing support.

Furthermore, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality assurance of the team's deliverables, ensuring adherence to established software delivery methodologies and leveraging appropriate tools. Collaborating closely with other technology functions, you'll contribute to the seamless delivery of required technological solutions, aligning with overarching organizational objectives.

A pivotal aspect of your role lies in your engagement with stakeholders, serving as a linchpin for successful project advancement. Your adept collaboration and communication skills will be instrumental in driving projects forward, facilitating their successful completion and alignment with business needs.

Responsibilities

Working knowledge of the Adobe Marketing Cloud especially Real Time Customer Data Platform (CDP).

Analyze user requirements thoroughly and translate them into comprehensive design documents.

Develop detailed system documentation to encapsulate critical design decisions effectively.

Communicate intricate technical concepts to business users in a clear and understandable language.

Generate multiple solution options to address diverse business requirements effectively.

Engage with users to secure agreement on the proposed technology-driven solutions. Collaborate with Functional Business Analysts and Business Units for comprehensive review and sign-off on solution documents.

Produce technical documents, including functional/non-functional specifications, design specifications, and training manuals for solutions. Review interface design specifications crafted by the development team.

Execute design and development tasks for applications in alignment with change requests and project specifications.

Participate actively in the selection of products and tools through processes like RFPs and POCs.

Conduct detailed estimation of project timelines and resources required for change requests.

Review test strategies and functional test cases prepared by the testing team.

Monitor and manage risks and issues related to requirements and scope changes proactively.

Collaborate with production support team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review both new and existing code, and perform unit testing as necessary.

Continuously strive to optimize the runtime performance of IT applications in production.

Implement and execute continuous service improvement and process enhancement plans

What you will need:

Full stack development knowledge

Strong functional and end-to-end solutioning experience in real time and batch campaign management (across data sourcing, plan, design, execute, fulfil and measure)

Data source integration and event sourcing

Targeting and segmentation

Campaign and offer eligibility and prioritization

Channel integration and delivery

Closed loop analysis and fulfilment initiation

Request and approval process for the new campaigns/offers

Technical skillsets

Adobe Campaign. This should be based on hybrid solutions comprising both on-premise and cloud components Adobe Analytics (good to have) Unica Campaign, Associated technologies for integration e.g. SMPP, Adobe SDK/API Associated technologies for customization e.g. Java, Javascript, SQL, XML, data modelling

Experience or certification in the below technologies will be an added advantage:

CI/CD software, Testing Tools - Jenkins, SonarQube Version Control Tool - Aldon+LMe, CA Endeavor Deployment Tool kit -Jenkins Service or Incident Management (IcM) Tools - Remedy Source Code Repository Tool - Bitbucket Scheduling Tool - Control-M Defect Management Tool - JIRA Application Testing tool – QuerySurge
