　　The Marketing Intern is responsible for assisting the Marketing Team with marketing initiatives while providing customer service. The ideal candidate must be a student at Slippery Rock University. We are looking for outgoing students who enjoy being part of a fast-paced environment. You will gain valuable sales and marketing experience by communicating program benefits to your peers and working fun events. By being a Peer-to-Peer team member, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills to sell meal plans, assist in promotion development and execution, social media content creation, and event implementation. Ultimately, you will get to help engage your peers in a new and different way as well as enhance their campus experience.

　　Job Responsibilities

　　Knowledge about Meal Plans, campus locations, and overall Dining Services ProgramShifts may involve meal plan selling tables, meal plan/dining program information tables at events, social media content creation, event setup and break down, campus communication updates, etc.Detail orientedAutonomous work environmentUtilize the tools and technology available to sell meal plansOffice administration tasksMaintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc. Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures including food safety and sanitation Ensure security of company assets

　　This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
