Universal Pictures is an American film studio, owned by Comcast through its wholly owned subsidiary NBCUniversal, and is one of Hollywood's "Big Six" film studios. Universal Studios is a member of the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA).
The Marketing Intern will work closely with the Regional Marketing team to support the proper execution of film releases in markets across the region. You will facilitate and provide administrative and operational support on theatrical marketing of Universal Pictures films releases in South Asia region.
Your responsibilities may span the following areas:
Liaise with Home Office and licensee partners on film & franchise related matters
Assist with servicing marketing assets and materials to partners, local offices, and vendors.
Assist with facilitating execution of publicity and promotions activities
Consolidate campaign marketing reports during and after release
Support region’s merchandise needs including gathering and submission of orders, facilitating creative approvals, and managing delivery
Contribute to insights and ideas in creative brainstorms
Assist with preparing any ad-hoc reports and presentation decks as needed
General data and information gathering, collating, and reporting
Collating, extracting and verifying information from Magic
Ad-hoc administrative support as required
Passion for films, with a keen interest in functionalities of marketing for filmed entertainment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Meticulous and detailed oriented
Able to take initiative, multi-task and work independently
Experience or knowledge in marketing or relevant fields would be beneficial
Proficient in MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word; Photoshop will be a plus
