Paramount Software Solutions, Inc. seeks Senior Database Administrators in Alpharetta, GA 30005 and various unanticipated locations to work with client team on Designing, Development, Installation, Configuration and compute/storage capacity planning of production and non-production databases and data modeling for performance security focused design requirements under the role of Senior Database Administrator. Administering Microsoft SQL Server for security of database servers, configuration of backups for recovery on need basis, availability of database using standard High availability and Disaster Recovery Technologies to meet business requirements. Applying builds on Production and Development environments, configuration and Maintenance of scheduled tasks on database servers along with Installation of service packs and Hotfixes for both standalone and cluster services. Configuration and troubleshooting of business-critical databases for high availability and disaster recovery using technologies like Log shipping, Transactional Replication, Database Mirroring and Traditional windows failover clusters. Performance tuning database queries on database servers and optimization of stored procedures by looking in to the execution plan, Indexes, outdated statistics, optimizer hints, and portioned views to meet at most uptime of database servers for end users. Monitoring database systems by using monitoring tools such as IDERA-SQL Diagnostic Manager, SQL Sentry, Extended Events, Dynamic Management views to mitigate performance issues to meet the business SLAs. Capacity planning of resources such as Memory, Processors, and storage on database servers to meet requirements and to avoid outages during business hours. Deploying data solutions by writing code in PowerShell and T-SQL and by enforcing ITIL and Scrum methodologies got managed SQL Server Database Systems. Development and Deployment of Database ETLs using SQL Server Integration Services and Create reports for end users using SQL Server Reporting Services along with tuning and modifying database reports to meet end user requirements.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field of study, together with Five (5) years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Previous work experience or academic coursework must have included experience with: Microsoft SQL Server; PowerShell; T-SQL; SQL Server Integration and Reporting Services; SQL Performance and Tuning; Windows Failover Cluster; and Microsoft Azure.
