Job Description
The Content Manager is responsible for a holistic, coherent, and effective content strategy and its execution to inform and delight audiences. They ill take over the conception, development, and final implementation of the creative messaging and necessary communication packages for specific, defined topics (products, campaigns, initiatives, trade fairs, communication measures, etc.)
Develop consistent overall storylines and messages for the target groups based on marketing strategy and objectives.Create the customer journey and define the general activities and channels for execution.Work in close cooperation with Marketing Management, other Content Managers, Copywriters, and Channel OwnersTake ownership of specific topics: product launches, campaigns, service communication, fairs etc.Planning, organization, and management of content for campaignsConduct research and build and maintain a network of knowledge sources!Develop a consistent storyline and message for the specific topics based on objectives.Recommend the split of the given budget per activity/channelCreate basic materials such as messaging frameworks, briefings, and whitepapers in conjunction with external service providers and channel owners.Create messages and stories for your target group based on your detailed knowledge of the customer and product benefits.Develop and maintain and update target-driven content (e.g., social media and SEO content)Create the look & feel for all marketing communication requirements while ensuring alignment with design guidelines.Coordinate closely with the Performance Analyst for campaign performance monitoring.Ensure compliance of branding guidelines in messaging and presentationSupport branding and naming projectsSupport brand and trademark protection issuesSupport Marketing Management with communicative trends and development in the market and of competitorsCreate new perspectives of marketing and communication in the form of innovative marketing trendsCommunicate regularly within BA SSL; Marketing Management, MaCo, internal stakeholders, Head of Industry/Segment etc.)

QualificationsBachelor's degree in related fields of Marketing and Business Admin5+ years' experience in content management. 10 years in content manager in lieu of a degreeProduct, Material, and Process knowledgeExperience managing internal and external agenciesProven in-depth knowledge of strategic marketing, brand communication, communication mechanisms, and channelsMarket knowledge of customer and competitors' trends and actionsEntrepreneurial, solution-oriented, and innovative thinkingHigh degree of customer orientation, hands-on mentalityStructured way of thinking and workingAbility to take responsibility and make decisionsStrong communication skills in both written and verbalFluent in English, written and spokenVery good knowledge and confident handling of MS OfficeNo visa sponsorship now or in the future for this role
