Come Join Us: As a Responsible Business Marketing and Communications Specialist, you will work within the Avanade Corporate Communications and Brand team to design and execute a comprehensive and integrated communications strategy across all aspects of Responsible Business. You will also collaborate with other functions, such as Corporate Citizenship and Inclusion & Diversity, to ensure a consistent and seamless message both internally and externally. Together we go beyond.
What You’ll Do: • Build and execute a strategy to communicate Avanade’s role as a Responsible Business, integrating all aspects of Citizenship, Sustainability, Diversity and Inclusion and Nonprofit. • Develop and oversee the implementation of internal communications activities to inform and inspire Avanade’s people about our role as a Responsible Business and the opportunities available for them to get involved. • Identify the need for and lead the development of engaging content to tell Avanade’s story as a Responsible Business, using various formats and channels (e.g., internal stories, blogs, podcasts, videos, social media, PR, field marketing, etc.). • Work closely with all Avanade marketing and communications functions to ensure messaging is integrated across all communication platforms and aligned with our brand and values. • Develop and oversee key Responsible Business events and initiatives (e.g., World Earth Day, COP26, World Economic Forum, our internal annual youth conference FUEL etc.). • Oversee program execution to ensure successful completion in terms of quality, effectiveness, time, and budget management. This includes tracking and reporting of results, metrics, and success measurement.
Skills and Experiences • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is desirable. • Relevant years of marketing and communications preferably in a global and/or professional services environment. • Proven track record of leading and executing successful marketing and communications campaigns in Responsible Business, Citizenship, Sustainability, or Nonprofit. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling messages for various audiences and channels. • Capable project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
