　　GBA, a multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm has a careeropportunity as one of the Market Leaders within the Water EnvironmentGroup located in Lenexa, Kansas. GBA Provides comprehensive servicesincluding field data collection, master planning, asset management,design, and construction management services. We are looking for aleader for our growing drinking water systems group. The ideal candidateshould have significant management and design experience in a consultingenvironment with a proven ability to lead a group of engineers, a stronginterest and ability to cultivate new business through clientengagement, and superior project management skills. The role will suit aself-motivated individual who is aspiring to take a lead role inbusiness development, project delivery and management of dynamic team.

　　Responsibilities

　　One of the Water group leaders with tenacity by preparing annualbusiness plans, scheduling staff, and providing growth oversight andopportunitiesProvide project management and report preparation for drinking watersystem design and master planning projectsParticipate in business development activities to grow our clientnetwork. Establish and maintain client relationships with new andexisting clientsPerform design of projects for both rehabilitation and newconstruction; and provide quality control reviewsBe a detail-oriented person with good communication skillsPrepare calculations, design drawings, and specifications fordrinking water system projectsReview existing reports and studies for information related tostudies and design projectsPrepare written studies and project design technical reportsCoach and mentor staffAssist in project pursuits and proposal preparationDevelop scope and fee proposals for potential projectsOther duties as assignedQualifications

　　BS in Civil Engineering or closely related engineering degree7+ years of experience in water distribution system design, orsimilar experienceProfessional Engineering certification in the state of Kansas, orthe ability to obtain them within six months of employmentPossess effective communication skills, both written and oralMust be able to work effectively on a team and individuallyCandidate must be adept at working on fast-paced projectsTravel: Some overnight travel may be necessary for this position.Some occasional local day travel will be required.
