  The Role: Market Intelligence Sale Associate Internship Program

  The Impact: This is an exciting opportunity to support the Market Intelligence Sales effort across new business and revenue retention initiatives for multiple business lines in several of our product offerings. Successful team members will develop critical skills and competencies that will help them progress their careers within the MI sales team.

  Final placements will be determined during the interview process.

  Responsibilities:

  Help manage our prospecting efforts on a wide spectrum, including managing marketing leads, new business campaigns, customer upgrade campaigns etc.

  Managing sales tasks within our CRM system

  Help sales team with booking meetings, preparing materials, presenting at meetings

  Analyze territories and existing accounts to identify cross-sell opportunities.

  Broaden cross asset knowledge across the markets

  Broaden knowledge about finance industry

  Learn our product’s selling features and narratives that put us in a position to win business

  Learn vital sales skills: generate leads, cold calling, pitching, negotiations, and contracting skills

  Our Internship Program: During your summer at S&P Global you'll have the chance to partner with our industry experts, with on-the-job experience focusing on high impact work that allows you to apply and develop your skills. Networking, business insights and tailored learning opportunities all support your growth and development, setting you up for success as you begin your career.

  The Summer 2024 Internship Program will provide you with a variety of experiences to help you identify your strengths, develop highly transferable skills, and align you to a successful career path for a bright future at S&P Global.

  Duration: June 3rd - August 9th.

  Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

  S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $25 to $30.

  What We’re Looking For:

  Qualifications:

  Working towards a bachelor’s degree or Msc in a relevant field such as finance, economics, business, or other related degree to be completed no later than May 2025

  A strong interest in the financial services sector

  Goal and action orientated, with ability to work towards revenue targets within a business development environment

  Interest in solving problems for clients through the delivery of financial market data solutions and analytical tools.

  Experience in dealing with challenging situations, i.e. objection handling, overcoming gatekeepers, etc.

  Strong collaboration skills in a team environment

  Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and manage deadlines

  Right to Work Requirements:

  This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
