InterstatePower Systems is seeking an experienced Marine OEM Sales Representative.This position will actively promote product sales and service in theassigned territory. Job Duties: The primary duties of this position willbe to actively promote product sales and service in the assignedterritory Establish and maintain relationships with marine end users,fleets, and OEMs to promote Interstate Power Systems products andservices Act as a liaison between the customer and company as needed toensure that the customer needs are adequately met Secure product orders,conducts surveys of assigned territory, studies product population,locate new prospects and determine prospects\' needs from new andexisting customers Plan sales calls, makes presentations, points out thebenefits of the products, parts, and services the company offers andemphasizes the advantages of dealing with the company Assist customersin solving problems, provides technical assistance for new applicationsas needed, assists in keeping customer up to date on new developmentsand product features Actively identify and develop new customer contactsto expand market share Keep informed on new business opportunities;settles complaints, establish, and maintain personal relations withcustomers; assist at exhibits, demonstrations, and meetings Keepfamiliar with new products developed by the company and by competition,keep company informed of changes which can affect performance Ensurethat customers are kept up to date regarding new product features anddevelopments Maintain a system for keeping literature, brochures, pricesheets, etc. neat and up to date Maintain records of calls, makesreports as required, works according to plan, follow up on all leads,contract lettings and inquiries, controls travel, telephone, andentertainment expenses Maintain a high degree of sales...
