This operation is partof the Electrocoat process in our Finishing Department. Reporting to theEcoat Process Supervisor, the successful candidate will bedetail-oriented, thorough, organized and have the ability to multi-task.Responsibilities Promote Safety as the Number One Priority of all OMGemployees Troubleshoot, maintain and optimize treatment processGuarantee use of and train on appropriate safety procedures Perform jartest procedures and operate hydraulic filter presses Precipitate metalsfrom wastewater using coagulants, flocculants, and pH adjustment Managesolid waste and prep DOT containers for shipment Organize and trackinventory of wastewater chemicals Ensure compliance with MassachusettsDEP Discharge Permit Perform titrations of Ecoat pretreat tanks PerformEcoat paint sampling and testing Perform other tasks as assignedRequirements High School Diploma or equivalent Massachusetts Grade 2Industrial Wastewater Operator Certification (required) (Gr 3Ipreferred) Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational andcommunication skills Proven ability to troubleshoot manufacturingequipment both electrically and mechanically Capable of overcomingobstacles and completing assignments in a timely manner Strong workingknowledge of industrial controls and instrumentation preferredTeam-oriented approach with a desire to work in a hands-on capacityPositive attitude, good judgment and excellent time management skillsStrong sense of responsibility and ownership Ability to walk, stand,stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to finger, handle, or feelobjects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb orbalance; and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds CompensationStarting \$28 with a 10% shift differential
