Key Responsibilities
Act as technical liaison between field to factory: manufacturing process
Responsible for related technical support aspects at a specific customer: escalations, system installations, improvement programs and upgrades.
Involves in upfront order process. Drive accuracy of customer shipped configurations and BOMs (Bill of Materials)
CaRM (Configuration accuracy Review Meeting) reviews
BOM (Bill of Materials) accuracy
NSR (Non-Standard Request)
Ability to analyze Bill of Material (BOM) and change control processes including Non-Standard Requests (NSRs) or Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
Monitor factory’s manufacturing progress and alert stakeholders for critical actions.
On site presence at customer site to gain understanding of customer specific needs, system installation risk, manufacturing related non-conformance.
Participate and drive Failure Analysis to identify long term technical issues, the plans for resolution, and develops the design to correct the issue.
Analyze operational data; Develop and implement recommendations.
Participates in and may lead audits. Participates on multifunctional design teams comprised of internal, external and/or matrixed headcount to complete projects. Provides technical input to team members to achieve project goals.
Builds and maintains customer satisfaction through clear, consistent communication and the sharing of collective knowledge. Is consistently able to operate in high pressure or ambiguous situations. Solicits customer feedback.
Prepare project plan and coordinates the attainment of project deliverables from planning to implementation. Maintains matrix for process improvements.
Document and Mitigate non-conformance repeats.
May work with SmartStart team on factory tool qualification testing and eliminate redundancy.
Functional Knowledge
Requires functional expertise (best practices), broad company knowledge (how own area integrates with others) and additional industry or business knowledge (aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market).
Has working knowledge of production systems SAP, iOMS, APS, Smart Factory
Has experience with one or more AMAT products, DSM, MDP, ECTH , FEP , CMP
Demonstrate good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & vacuum and process testing.
Knowledge of manufacturing methods & commodities as related to productand cost structure.
Substantial experience in Project Management
Interpersonal Skills
Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus.
Customer-relations oriented.
Requirements
Bachelor in Engineering with minimum 5 year of experience
Experience working on Semiconductor equipment – either in manufacturing or as field/technical service . Preferably CVD equipment
Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or experience.
Strong independent work ethic
Willing to travel 50% to East Asia for extended period of time ( min 2 weeks per trip).
