A Day in the Life
This position in planning HUB will maintain and govern master data for supply planning in various planning system used by Medtronic.
This position will drive master data hygiene for the APAC in various planning system used by the organization.
This position will be APAC SPOC for material extension as a Local data administrator to ensure timely product extension basis the request from the regional planners or marketing.
The master data analyst will liaise with global as APAC SPOC to analyze various key inputs to planning system on regular interval of time and recommend changes to region supply chain leaders for effective planning output.
The master data analyst will have to analyze master data governance reports available in PBI tool to identify gaps and take corrective actions.
As an individual contributor in the APAC Planning Processes, you will be responsible for:
· Contributing to the development of the overall APAC Distribution requirement Planning master data hygiene.
· As a local data administrator (LDA) for APAC ensure extension of the product/material into the planning system by liaising with regional data administrator (RDA) basis the request from regional planners & marketing
· Identifies areas for data quality improvements from the reports available in PBI tool and helps planners to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, revisions, process control and improvement.
· Liaise with global MDM to improve efficiency of master data maintenance & assists regional planners in management, governance, and quality of master data requirements to ensure functional master data integrity across the operation is consistent and meets stated business rules and requirements.
· Liaise with global as a APAC SPOC to analyze various key inputs to planning system on regular interval of time and recommend changes to regional supply chain leaders for effective planning output.
· Work closely with the business/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operations of the application meet all requirements.
· Recommend & Execute Robotic Process Automation (RPA) of repetitive activity.
· All other duties as assigned by manager.
Minimum Requirements
Must Have
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain/ Engineering/Information Technology/ Computer science
· Min 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain and SAP or other planning tools
· Preferable Experience in Medical Device Industry
· Optional Lean, Six Sigma green or black belt certification
· Optional 2-3 Years project management experience
· Extensive working and technical knowledge of SAP APO and ECC or other tools functionality and concepts
· Effective and seasoned working in a matrix organization and multi-level stakeholder management
· Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally in English, both written and orally, to wide variety of audiences

· Demonstrated track record of SAP APO/ECC or other planning tools knowledge and expertise in participating/leading large scale projects
· Strong decision making skills; Sound judgment utilized; takes into account all relevant factors and information
