　　About The Opportunity

　　Position SummaryThis position will be responsible for understanding production work orders, load tags, time sheets and all other relevant documents, palletizing instructions and GMP's.

　　Key Duties And ResponsibilitiesAble to demonstrate basic math and measurement skillsFamiliarity with the use of hand tools; including tape measuresAble to work at a brisk pace throughout an 8 - 12 hour shift in a non-sedentary position within a manufacturing environmentPerform procedural quality inspections and identify defects as compared to written product specificationsAble to read and follow all work instructions in a safe and effective mannerDemonstrate outstanding attention-to-detail while always achieving superior safety, quality and productivity standardsDevelop Machine Operator qualifications by assisting Qualified Operators and through on-the-job training

　　Essential to this Position:Monday - Friday 6 AM to 2 PM; weekends rareDemonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and proceduresDemonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelinesUnderstand production work orders, load tags, palletizing instructions, time sheets and all other relevant documentsUnderstand computer system and input of dataPerform quality checks on products (board grade, flutes, single face/double face sides and overall board quality) and identify defectsMaintain production efficiencies and standardsPerform miscellaneous job functions in an accurate and efficient manner, such as:PackingPalletizingBundlingStackingSortingLoad TagsAssist the Operators in efficient operation of the machine centersPlay an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of assigned equipment and surrounding work areaUnderstand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirementsPerform other duties as assigned by management/supervisorsEducation / Certifications
