Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Blueprint Interpretation: Analyze blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine the sequence of operations and setup requirements necessary for the production of high-quality products.
Process Documentation: Document manufacturing processes thoroughly, capturing all pertinent information required for the production of products in accordance with prescribed specifications.
Fixture and Tool Design: Design holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials for various machines, ensuring the secure processing of materials and consistent adherence to tolerances.
Control Variables: Prescribe control variables through written documents or computerized machine control programs to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing processes.
Safety and Assistance: Assist process operators as needed to ensure safe, effective, and controlled production operations. Collaborate with operators and inspectors to verify and validate conformance of process outputs to specifications.
Documentation Updates: Update process documentation as necessary to accurately reflect actual processes, work times, and required resources for future planning of recurring product production.
Problem Resolution: Work closely with management, supervisors, and production personnel to identify and resolve production problems promptly.
Maintenance Support: Assist supervisors in documenting production process equipment maintenance plans and participate in the installation of replacement parts in process mechanisms, machines, and equipment.
Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with management in identifying and justifying capital equipment for process improvements, ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity.
Cost-effective Machining: Maximize the ability to machine all required parts in-house efficiently and cost-effectively. Assist in make/buy decisions for new parts.
Other Duties: Perform other duties as required, contributing to the overall success and growth of the manufacturing team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in manufacturing engineering roles.Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and creating detailed manufacturing documentation.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Familiarity with various manufacturing processes and equipment.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Must pass background check and drug screening.Competitive wage and benefits with opportunities for skill development.
