  Your Responsibilities

  As a Manufacturing Engineer for JD Dubuque Works located in Dubuque, IA, you will lead projects of varying scope related to change management, capital equipment acquisitions, layout changes, or product updates. In addition, you will:

  Identify opportunities and implement continuous improvement projects in support of departmental goals for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Efficiency

  Establish routings, methods, layouts, tools, quality plans, and labor standards for revisions to current operations

  Support development and implementation of new manufacturing processes, technologies/automation improvements

  Support and lead cross-functional teams

  Be present for daily shop floor support

  What Skills You Need

  A solid work ethic with 2 or more years of manufacturing engineering or factory support experience

  Knowledge of assembly processes, quality, tooling, and safety

  Good communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with salaried and wage personnel in a team environment

  Ability to create and thrive in an inclusive and collaborative team environment

  Experience with shop floor documentation (Sequence of Events, Labor Standards, Operator Methods Sheets) and Line Balancing (DLBT)

  Plans, prioritizes, and organizes work effectively, adapting for changing conditions

  What Makes You Stand Out

  3 or more years of manufacturing engineering or factory support experience:

  Experience with project management

  Knowledge and usage with CREO, Smart Connected Factory projects and Automation or controls experience

  Experience in one of the areas: industrial engineering, operations, design, manufacturing, or quality

  Knowledge of shop floor manufacturing (AMES) and work measurement within MPPlanner

  Self-starter, who can mentor and support other team members

  Education

  Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  Bachelors degree in an Engineering or Engineering Technology discipline or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing environmentWhat You'll Get
