　　Archer Western/Traylor Bros. JV, a member of The Walsh Group is currently seeking an Manatee Watcher for theSETF/Howard Frankland Bridge Replacement, in Tampa, FL.

　　The Primary function of a Manatee Watcher is to oversee and observe manatees in the wild on the site of construction.

　　Responsibilities

　　Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

　　Understand federal and state requirements regarding the protection of threatened species in the ocean

　　Observe manatees during designated times as instructed by the needs of the construction project

　　Serve as the point of contact to alert construction project personnel when they are in the presence of manatees

　　Report any collision or injury to or with manatees to the appropriate authorities

　　Qualifications

　　Must be experienced in observing manatees in the wild on a construction project

　　Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

　　May be required to work in adverse weather conditions

　　Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly

　　Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn

　　Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods

　　Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
