About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Manager - Upselling & Cross Selling to join Jumeirah Group & Corporate . The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Create, develop, implement, and drive overall upselling and cross selling strategy across entire Jumeirah Group
Manage and implement strategies put in place that have been designed to increase the overall revenue of the business by identifying and capitalizing on upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Identify and develop opportunities designed to encourage customers to purchase higher-tier products, upgrades, or additional features that align with their needs and preferences
Provide training and support to sales and customer service teams on effective upselling and cross-selling techniques
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the success and impact of upselling and cross-selling activities across individual hotels
Analyze historical data and market trends to forecast potential revenue from upselling and cross-selling initiatives
Analyze customer feedback to understand the effectiveness of upselling and cross-selling efforts, making adjustments as needed
Utilize customer data and analytics to identify patterns, preferences, and opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align upselling and cross-selling efforts with broader business strategies and campaigns
Contribute to the creation and implement promotional campaigns and offers that encourage customers to explore additional products or services
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mathematics, Business or other relevant fields from a reputable University
A minimum of 5 years experience of working in a similar field of Revenue Management, ideally within a hospitality or blue-chip organization.
Strong understanding of upselling and cross-selling techniques.
Previous experience of managing own revenue portfolios and proven track record of achieving and exceeding KPI’s and goals
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Software competencies – Microsoft Office programs (Intermediate | Advanced)
Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, sales automation, and data analytics tools to support upselling and cross-selling efforts.
