Technical Scheme Manager

NSF is currently looking for aTechnical Scheme Managerin our Quality and Environmental team to collaborate on the design and execution of processes and compliance to ISR accreditation requirements to ensure NSF certifications are technically sound and supported by appropriate documentation. This includes ensuring global consistency to technical and accreditation processes, supporting audit delivery and technical operations, and focusing on client relationships.Principal Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:Lead the development and ongoing management of the quality, environmental, health and safety, ewaste and forestry certification scheme programs according to NSF and accreditation body requirements.Responsible for the technical development of certification scheme documents and managing the application of certification scheme requirements to ensure compliance with relevant KPI expectations.Serve as primary contact and lead of assigned schemes, working directly with teams to ensure the successful delivery of scheme services and provide superior customer service.Take the lead in monitoring the effectiveness of the scheme and identify opportunities to drive topline performance and growth.Ensure that the scheme program meets all corporate and accreditation requirements for QA and QC turnaround times, production and annual budget.Plan, organize and conduct key events including launch events, annual forums, and other training events.Develop and publish impact studies, case studies and survey evaluations.Develop and manage Certification Body approvals for various schemes, including creating evaluation documents, evaluating Certification Bodies and auditor performance, conducting onsite audits and shadow audits, reporting findings and communicating results to Certification Bodies to drive continuous improvement in the quality of audit reports and auditor calibration.Support the achievement of new accreditations within given timelines, while maintaining current program accreditations, working closely with accreditation bodies and NSF's quality and legal department.Oversee the development and maintenance of quality systems to ensure ongoing compliance with internal KPIs, KPIs of the scheme owners, and accreditation requirements.Manage team of associated resources to ensure optimal team performance.Work with marketing, communications and business developments to strategically market and sell service offerings with the most growth potential.Participate in marketing activities and publication goals as necessary.Support the sales of scheme services by delivering presentations to manufacturers, trade associations, regulatory agencies, and product user groups.Assist the Business Development teams with developing proposals that meet the unique needs of our clients.Track the operational performance of assigned schemes and report to the Director.Provide periodic reports to the Director for assigned projects or deliverables.Assist the Director with developing, implementing, and monitoring annual operating plans and budget.Collaborate with other NSF divisions to ensure the ability to offer NSF clients, and potential future clients, the full range of scheme services available.Represent NSF at trade shows, meetings, and conferencesDevelop policies and procedures for assigned program areas.Providing technical expertise to internal and external customers.Perform other duties as requestedQualificationsExperience with 9001, 14001, 45001 auditing programs.9001, 14001, 45001 Certified Lead Auditor.2+ years of supervisory and/or leadership experience.Technical knowledge of schemes and the associated management and development processes.Experience writing technical documents with a focus on quality systems.Pre
