Here's what you can expect as a Manager, Strategic Sourcing at DaVita:The Manager, Strategic Sourcing position will focus on managing the end toend sourcing of products and services essential for DaVita operations.The teammate will select, evaluate and manage vendor relationships usingdata analytics to solve problems, identify cost saving opportunities,create competitive environments and achieve business goals.The position will also partner with others on DaVita's Enterprise StrategicSourcing team on various projects and will focus on reducing spending andsupply risk in a variety of direct spend categories.The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills as they will beworking with DaVita teammates and DaVita Vendors.Requires a high level of strategic and analytical thinking, projectmanagement, and organizational skills.The Manager has 5+ years of Strategic Sourcing experience and must be ableto drive projects from start through completion.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Develop extensive market knowledge and a deep understanding of the assignedcategoriesHave experience leading all aspects of the sourcing process from end to endincluding RFIs/RFPs, bid analysis, supplier negotiation, and contractingDevelop category strategies to increase our innovation pipeline, drive costsavings, and influence industries to transform themselves.Manage overall strategic supplier relationships including developing supplierperformance (KPIs), capability development, cost and qualityimprovements for key suppliers and product categoriesPerform spend analysis and develop a sourcing roadmap focused on identifyingcost savings, reducing supply risk, and identifying process improvementsin a variety of direct spend categories.Provide insights and recommendations based on analysis, research, industrytrends, benchmarking, and best practicesIdentify and document supplier risk items and develop mitigation strategiesand plansMonitor contract compliance and ensure contract terms are being metCollaborate with internal operational, clinical and technical businesspartners to understand demand and supplier trendsAbility to balance multiple tasks and competing priorities simultaneously
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4+ years of strategic sourcing experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skills. The position requiresinteraction with teammates in various departments and with supplier partnersExperience developing and implementing category strategies requiredAble to work independently to balance multiple tasks and competing prioritiessimultaneouslyExperience leading & executing RFPs and competitive bidding processes requiredStrong strategic mindset and analytic skills - the ability to work with largeamounts of data to drive strategic decisions.Excellent computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint & Word

Salary/ Wage Range$92,000.00-$138,000.00 / year
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including acandidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and mayfall outside of the range shown.
