　　Manager - Self-Care R&D Packaging

　　This position reports into Head of Self-Care Packaging and is based at Skillman, NJ or Ft Washington, PA. Role will eventually be based in Summit, NJ.

　　What You Will Do

　　The Manager - Self-Care R&D Packaging is responsible for shaping & leading squad/ franchise deliverables for superior consumer experience through packaging and engages the cross-functional team to follow through. Supports manufacturing investigations and collaborates with commercial & supply chain teams to optimize processes, packaging materials, and constructions to enable the business innovation sufficiency, ESG and GP targets.

　　Key Responsibilities

　　Partner with the X-functional team to lead new package development based on consumer insight, delivering the targeted consumer benefit and key claims, while meeting cost targets.

　　Leverage digital tools such as CAD, modeling & simulation to streamline package development and guide the team to deliver right-first-time initiatives.

　　Maintains accountability for best practices throughout product and process design. Implements methods for measuring performance to monitor the technical integrity of products.

　　Knowledge of external vendor ecosystem and capabilities. Knowledge of new packaging industry trends

　　Annual developmental budget management. Tracking. Management of project development OPEX. Deliver NPI & CIP on schedule and in full.

　　Manage contributions of 0-5 direct reports.

　　Qualifications

　　What We Are Looking For

　　Required Qualifications

　　Education: Bachelors / Masters in Packaging technology/ Mechanical / Polymer, Plastics, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.

　　Work experience: 6 (for MS Candidates)/ 8 years of new package development/Technology transfer in CPG, food, or pharmaceutical companies.

　　Desired Qualifications

　　Technical knowledge to shape team deliverables and assess/ manage risk. Strong understanding of packaging development work process.

　　Experience working with regulated products (OTC Drugs, Pharma, Med Device, etc.,)

　　Confident and articulate communicator (both written and verbal), with the ability to convey and present complex information to others clearly and logically

　　Strong leadership and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work and lead their team independently seeking guidance as required.

　　This candidate will be based in Skillman, NJ or Ft Washington, PA and may require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel as needed by the business.

　　The anticipated base pay range for this position is $111,000 - $192,500.
