Description
Develops and leads Value Stream process improvement strategy; with a focus on driving operational efficiency results. Works in close partnership with senior leadership and physician leaders to provide direction/leadership to enhance operational performance and improve quality through coordinated efforts.
Responsible for leading process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and optimize business processes using a variety of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, and Process Design. Guides project selection to ensure projects are focused on key operational processes, alignment with Providences, core values, and key strategic priorities. Works with leadership to use process improvement methodologies and tools to achieve improvement targets. Designs and implements communication strategies; including celebrating successes throughout the organization. Designs and oversees implementation of process improvement educational trainings for the organization, supports executive committees in setting direction for process improvement initiatives, and ensures alignment with the strategic priorities. Responsible for the implementation of projects and oversees Performance Improvement Consultants.
This position is the subject matter expert for all process improvement methodologies.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Relevant field
5 years experience in a position directly applying lean techniques and quality problem solving techniques, preferably a leadership role
Experience developing and delivering educational materials in a group setting
Experience in Lean, Six-Sigma, or Quality Engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a supervisory role
Experience in a health care environment
