We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of Supplier Partnerships to join our team and play a key role in developing and managing our strategic supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in building and maintaining strong partnerships with suppliers, negotiating favorable contracts, and mitigating supply chain risks.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a supplier relationship management (SRM) strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers to the company's supply chain.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering open communication and collaboration.
Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring that terms are favorable to the company.
Monitor supplier performance and identify potential issues or risks.
Supplier consolidation/stratification to preferred suppliers to reduce costs and improve rebates Develop and implement supplier diversity programs to expand the company's supplier base. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in SRM.
Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on SRM processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in supplier relationship management.
Proven track record of negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers.
Strong understanding of supply chain risks and mitigation strategies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant supply chain management software.
