  WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

  The Manager MADE Risk Management manages & works with Business Units across Marketing and Digital Engagement (MADE) to support the execution, operation, and ongoing maintenance of the division's Risk & Compliance Program. Works with the 1LOD, 2LOD and 3LOD partners to ensure alignment of Risk Management Framework and compliance with Heightened risk management requirements.The Manager MADE Risk Management is working manager that provides functional guidance and oversees all individual contributors and working teams.The Manager MADE Risk Management spends time performing the same work activities as colleagues on the Team as well as reviewing and approving work activities. This role assigns tasks and assists in setting priorities for the Risk Function. Serves as first point of contact to individual contributors and matrix risk functions.

  What you will do

  Responsible for pomoting risk awareness across the DivisionStays abreast on and provides guidance to the division on reporting standards, department reporting requirements, and bank system changes/enhancementsOperates as a point of contact for the division by responding to internal inquiries regarding policies, procedures and regulatory requirementsResearches a wide variety of topics and issues including emerging risks & trends, and risk management best practices; summarizes and communicates findings with the team, appropriate business unit, division, or enterpriseOversees the division and serves as the division's liasion second line of defense teams to coordinate risk management and measurement activitiesOversee and sign off on the execution of all risk related activities to ensure consistency throughout managed Divisions.Participate and provides documentation in Audits/Exams and other reviews as neededManages teams composed of high caliber thought leading colleagues who are responsible for Risk & Compliance Management activities across the division.Oversees the development and socialization of division risk management reports and/or dashboards, leveraging existing and/or leading the development of new reporting as needed; ensures alignment of management reports with 2LOD and other applicable requirements (e.g., regulatory).Provides functional guidance and coordinates the daily activities of individual contributors and/or working teams. Serves as a first point of contact to individual contributors.Proactively evaluates and monitors the division risk profile and provides reporting and escalation to the Division Risk Manager and Leadership Team.Provides thought leadership to the division risk and leadership teams on a variety of topics including emerging risks, trends, and best practices; oversees associated action(s).Responsible for assessing impacts to the division risk profile and provindg updates to the SVP, Strategy, Risk, Fianncial and Leadership TeamProvides input on resource planning and procedures within the team; escalating HR action as neededDrives consistency of risk activities across the division to ensure material/key risks are identified, escalated, managed, and remediated timely.Evaluates and executes on opportunities for increased efficiencies across the risk functionBuilds effective relationships with key partners across MADE business units and key business stakeholders in navigating our alignment to data related policies, processes and standardsOversees risk management and compliance objectives as a key partner and trusted advisor to MADE business units, ensuring current and future state processes, programs, applications, and vendors have privacy and security included by designPrioritizes risk based initiatives based on business needs and requirements while managing competing resources and prioritiesOversees root cause analyses on identified data related risk events to recommend improvements to prevent these risk events from re-occurring in futureOversees remediation plans and track through completion to address any caps in the mitigating measures identifiedOversees risk and control assessments across assigned technology and data domainsResponsible for the adoption of key data related policies and standards relevant to MADEInvestigates data trends and identify risk mitigation strategiesStays current on industry best-practices and regulatory expectations, rules, and changes

  Must-Have

  Bachelor's DegreeMinimum 10 years of financial services or an equivalent, regulated industry experienceMinimum 10 years in compliance or risk managementMinimum 8 years managing medium to large projectsMinimum 5 years managerial experience

  Skills and Knowledge

  Proficiency in MS Office, Project, and SharePointDemonstrated experience with regulations impacting consumer banking and/or business unit functions preferredDemonstrated strong and sound decision making abilities about compliance risks and recommended corrective action.Demonstrated ability to think critically and facilitate change through collaborative efforts. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Self-motivation, discipline, focus, the ability to structure and present work. Proven record of delivering high quality results within strict deadlines.Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize concurrent initiatives.Demonstrated ability to interact effectively, internally and externally, with the most senior representatives of organizations, regulators and vendors.Strong project and people management experience, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and assign work across a team or teams; provide guidance and solve complex problems faced by teams; motivate and coach colleagues with direct and indirect reporting lines; and identify, flag, and/or escalate matters and issues to the division risk manager for disposition."

  Compensation

  Starting base salary: $111,408 - $189,738 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
