Job Description
We are looking for a Manager Merch Inventory – Drop Ship to join Ordering Operations team. The Drop Ship Manager is responsible for supporting a team of Merchandise Analysts that own beginning through end of life of the drop ship assortment across both Full Price and Off Price. The team will deliver analysis and insights regarding Drop Ship as well as executing in-season strategies in support of assigned business units and company objectives and guidelines. In addition, the Drop Ship Manager is responsible for identifying efficiencies, best practices, improving tools and processes through constant partnership with the merchants, vendors, supply chain, and technology teams. Success will be measured in terms of impact on drop ship sales, margin, choice count productivity, in stock rate, and inventory health. This role will be supported by the NMG Drop Ship Sr. Manager.
A day in the life…
Team management and support: Effectively lead a team of approximately 6-8 merch analysts providing effective coaching and guidance to achieve business goals. Must lead through complexity with a solutions-oriented approach.
Oversee and guide the development of insights & in-season strategy: Develop the vision and provide guidance to team members to establish best practices for in-season management, provide regular insights, conduct ad hoc analyses. Ensure team is delivering operational, competitive, and strategic insights to influence and inform business stakeholders
Own development and delivery of Dropship Roadmap: Define process and guardrails for dropship and RTV management
Influence and leadership: Build strong, trusted relationships with VP & Director level merchandising leaders utilizing analysis to provide recommendations and shifts in business strategy
You own this if you have…
Bachelor’s degree required. Preferably in merchandising, business, economics, finance
5+ years of experience in retail, merchandising, and/or analysis preferred
Experience with Drop Ship (direct fulfillment) and/or foundational systems is a plus
Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to synthesize large and varying data sets into actionable insights
Demonstrated experience effectively managing and leading a team
Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
Strong work ethic complemented with a positive can-do attitude
Strong ability to build effective relationships, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – with ability to lead, facilitate and present to groups of differing size
Advanced Excel skills required

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
Washington: $92,000 - $155,000 Annually
This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
