Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What Is the Opportunity?
Join the team that collaborates across Travelers to inform business decisions, drive winning strategies and enable the business to capitalize on change. Enterprise Market Research (EMR) provides business and functional area partners with objective, credible and actionable insights; helping to profitably grow the business, build the brand and positively position Travelers within the marketplace. Primary market research roles leverage qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to obtain an understanding of the needs, behaviors, attitudes, expectations and perceptions of key target audiences (customers, prospects, and distribution partners). The Manager, Market Research conducts multiple primary research projects and provides overall project oversight, summarizing and synthesizing information into relevant business insights. This role will focus on work that supports our Brand, Communications, and Marketing teams.
What Will You Do?
Manage full cycle of primary research projects, both Qualitative and Quantitative, from design to client delivery (with and without research vendor support).
Use data from disparate sources (primary research, sales, media) to tell stories that bring our audiences to life for our marketing team and business partners.
Support brand and advertising research initiatives (e.g. audience profiling, creative development, brand tracking etc.) including questionnaire/discussion guide development, data analysis and reporting.
Support PR research initiatives for external publication.
Partner with internal EMR team to refine best practices for brand and advertising research.
Support Director on developing the brand, communications, and marketing research roadmap.
Other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, mathematics, statistics, psychology, anthropology or comparable analytical degree preferred.
4+ years of market research or related experience preferred.
3+ years of experience in B2B research
3+ years of experience with brand tracking (brand equity) and creative development (copytesting, early stage creative) research
2+ years of leadership experience (formally or informally).
Ability to manage research projects from the scoping phase through client delivery
Advanced PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skill
