　　Job Purpose

　　BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a Manager, Manufacturing Test Development Engineering. The Manager, Manufacturing Test Development Engineering will have responsibility to lead a test equipment and controls design group for Power Electronics and Electronics products. Additionally, this person will be responsible for leading a project management group. This position will report directly to the Senior Manager of Manufacturing Test Development.

　　Key Responsibilities

　　Lead group of electrical, mechanical, and project engineers in development of test equipment designs for Power Electronics and Electronics products

　　Lead resolution of problems generated during development

　　Coach employees and assure their continuous development

　　Motivates team to deliver high quality results

　　Effectively communicates to numerous stakeholders including senior management, other Business Groups, internal and/or external customers and staff

　　Assure project timelines and commitments are met

　　Escalates problems when appropriate

　　Ensures team resources are available to meet delivery commitments

　　Coordinate/lead the concept design reviews for custom designs

　　Achieves departmental budget goals

　　Identify and develop outside suppliers globally for equipment builds

　　Lead team of engineers in tracking CAPEX projects for global test equipment deliveries

　　Lead team of engineers in MQ2 checkout of middle of line test equipment

　　Oversight on quoting process for projects

　　Travel up to 10%, both domestic and international

　　What We’re Looking For

　　BS degree in management or engineering discipline; MS preferred

　　Subject matter expert required

　　Proven track record of leading teams to successful achievement of commitments

　　Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

　　10+ total years’ experience in engineering required

　　8+ total years’ experience in engineering leadership roles required

　　Strong leadership skills (change management, communications, building rapport and executing)

　　Experience coordinating and executing technology development projects

　　Equipment supplier development experience is preferred

　　Experience managing CAPEX budgets +50M annually

　　Ability to train, teach, and mentor other engineers

　　Leads group in a respectful manor while holding team to timing and quality expectations
