HNTB's Manager of Learning and Development will have the opportunity to manage day-to-day operations and overseeing the design and development of a wide array of learning and development resources that support HNTB's people development efforts. They will lead a team of Instructional Designers in conducing audience, process, and job analyses, to inform the creation of Learning Experience programs including live and virtual classes, self-paced eLearning courses, and blended Learning Journeys for specific topics such as Sales, Client Engagement, Project Delivery, Inclusion/Diversity/Equity, and Leadership.
What You’ll Do:
Collaborates with key stakeholders to design and deliver industry leading learning and development solutions that serve as a foundation to support the Firm’s growth. Implements the organization’s learning strategy so that the skills and performance of employees meet the organizations current and future needs.
Creates and champions a learning environment by leading and overseeing the design, development and delivery of a wide range of learning and development strategies and programs. Analyze and identify the training and development needs of employees.
Evaluates strategies and programs to measure the execution and adoption of established goals. Recommends strategies and programs as needed.
Establishes project workplans, leading and directing a team of learning and development professionals, and driving successful completion of each phase of work.
Responsible for the recruitment, hiring, mentoring, development, and retention of staff, including performance and compensation reviews.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or related degree
7 years relevant experience including 2 years experience leading complex, enterprise wide learning initiatives
Experience leading a Learning and Development team in a corporate setting.
Strong facilitation skills
