About Manager, Financial Intelligence Development

  CO Salary Range: USD 105,000.00 - 136,000.00 per year

  Ibotta is seeking a Manager, Financial Intelligence Development to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. This role entails leading a team to develop and maintain accurate financial reporting solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to drive actionable insights. The candidate will also ensure data quality, compliance, and continuous improvement while effectively communicating findings to support key business decisions.

  This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position, requiring 3 days in office. Preferred in-office hybrid days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Candidates must live in the United States.

  What you will be doing:

  Lead a team of analysts and data professionals for accurate and timely financial reportingCollaborate with stakeholders to create actionable reporting solutionsOversee data collection, validation, and integration for data qualityCollaborate with finance and accounting departments to align reporting needsEnsure compliance with data privacy and security regulationsDrive the adoption of new tools and methodologies to improve financial reporting efficiency and effectiveness.Embrace and uphold Ibotta's Core Values: Integrity, Boldness, Ownership, Teamwork, Transparency & A good idea can come from anywhere

  What we are looking for:

  Minimum of 5 years of experience leading database and dashboard development with a specific focus on financial reporting and hands on experience developing financial reports and dashboards supporting internal and external reporting.Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.Understanding of month end and accounting close processesProven experience in managing and leading BI teams.Expertise in Looker, Adaptive Planning, and Databricks.Familiarity with change management models (e.g. ADKAR)Proven knowledge of financial principles and accounting practices.Intermediate proficiency in SQL and data modeling.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations.Effective project management and organizational skills.Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.

  Additional Details:

  This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, 401k match, and equity. Denver office perks include paid parking, bagel Thursdays, snacks and occasional meals.Base compensation range: $105,000 - $136,000. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience.
