  Credit & Fraud Risk Finance supports Credit & Fraud Risk and other business partners on all aspects of Net Loss Provision. The CECL Analytics team’s key responsibilities include providing decision support and business analytics to help the senior leadership make decisions on appropriate level of reserves, develop and present key analyses and monthly / quarterly reserves results to senior management and provide thought leadership in development/enhancement of reserve models as well as strategic business analytics and lead discussion in various internal credit reserves committee.

  Responsibilities:

  Manage the monthly and quarterly credit reserve calculations and analysis, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness of the data and results for both CECL & IFRS 9.

  Monitor and analyze the credit quality and performance of the company’s credit card and other loan portfolios, identifying emerging credit trends, issues and opportunities for reserve assessments.

  Perform scenario analysis and evaluate the sensitivity and drivers of credit losses under different economic scenarios and conditions.

  Review, update and enhance credit loss models and methodologies to ensure following IFRS 9 requirements and best practices, including ongoing model monitoring and governance.

  Prepare and support the presentation materials for various credit reserves committees.

  Manage compliance and control activities, including internal controls and SOX compliance over credit reserving processes.

  Participate in or lead projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed.

  Partner with various cross-functional teams, including Controllership, Risk and Technology

  Qualifications:

  Degree in finance, accounting, quantitative field such as mathematics or statistics

  Strong understanding of statistical/predictive models, data extraction and analytical techniques using complex financial databases

  3 years of related experience preferred

  Advanced skillset with SQL required; Python/R skills preferred

  Successful candidate will have proactive "can do" attitude and strong background in financial analysis.

  High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  Must be able to translate ideas into understandable business solutions and demonstrate thought leadership in developing value added analyses.

  Must be results driven and proactive with the ability to manage multiple projects and work within tight timelines.

  Ability to break down complex ideas into understandable and actionable messages

  Ability to present to and influence senior leaders, internal validation teams, and external regulators

  Ability to provide thought leadership and creativity in solving challenging business problems

  Qualifications

  Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually bonus benefits
