  Job DescriptionSalary Range: 95-120K Base + Bonus

  This position will have an in-office requirement of 2x a week minimum, hybrid, in our Jersey City Location.

  About the Role

  The Manager, Experiential Marketing exudes passion and a desire to craft strong brand experiences to life at Verisk. Whether it is leading a Verisk event or conference, considering a new Verisk experience in our offices, or piloting a new experiential technology to drive business value, this individual plays a critical role in championing experiential marketing efforts for Verisk.

  The Manager, Experiential Marketing leads the connectivity and collaboration across a team of event coordinators, product marketers and strategy team members to bring the Verisk experience to life and reports to the Sr. Director, Experiential Marketing.

  The individual should have significant expertise in event planning, event execution, data-driven event analytics and executive communications. They should be proficient in leading experiential event strategies across multiple business units and time zones; have demonstrated success directing event strategy & execution for large, global organizations; and, be viewed as a trusted partner and advisor to C-suite executives and senior leaders.

  The right candidate will have demonstrated teamwork and consensus building in his/her work accomplishments and the ability to adapt to an ever-evolving modern marketing landscape. The position is based in Jersey City, NJ.

  Overall Responsibilities:

  Develop forward-looking end-to-end experiential strategy designed to boost awareness of Verisk's expertise, proprietary data, and track record of innovationDrive creative and brand strategy that results in compelling experiences that inspire audiences to connect, learn and collaborateDeliver an enterprise-wide global events calendar including industry, owned and sponsorship eventsPrioritize (and influence business unit) strategic investments in building experiences that align with Verisk marketing strategiesA hands-on experienced individual with a good balance of marketing, business, and leadership competencies, this role requires a significant level of independent thought and an ability to embrace ambiguity and challenge existing norms to exceed goals and objectives of the marketing teamMaintain a deep understanding of Verisk's industries including competitive landscape (and their experiential strategies), businesses, product lines and value propositionsProvide leadership in defining, documenting, and communicating key marketing experiential processes, continually working to simplify systems and processesLeverage data to drive decision-making and ROIExternal Experiences (Industry and Verisk owned)Identify new experiences opportunities aligned with Verisk's brand values and customer audiences, as well as recommendations on what experiences to sunsetTranslate the events strategy into a corporate marketing experiential plan that encompasses awareness, education and evangelism across Verisk's prospect and customer baseArticulate the role and goal of digital and in-person experiencesAbility to deliver and drive process improvements that improve event efficiency and qualityInternal ExperiencesInfluence approach to internal events that expand to encompass experiences that build Verisk's cultureQualificationsBachelor's degree required in events, marketing, or related field, or demonstrated equivalent in work experienceCorporate Events Authority (7+ years)Expert-level delivery and knowledge of best practices related to global event strategy, design and execution, including large scale in-person events, online events including webinars and conferencesProven success leading all aspects of events strategy (event feasibility, design, operations, on-site execution, evaluation) for global organizationsDemonstrated expertise in leveraging meeting technologies to produce a high-quality, customer-centric experiencesSkilled communicator effective at all levels of the organizationData-driven mindsetExcellent data-first skills across tracking, measurement and analytics to deliver ROI, insights and strategy recommendationsSkilled in event monitoring and tracking toolsExperience building and monitoring dashboards that demonstrate ROI and business impactLeader of high-performance teamsLead and inspire a team of event managers and experiential team members who are responsible for end-to-end event marketing delivery, including project/budget management, executive engagement, logistical and operational elements, site selection and sponsorshipsExpert at leading centralized and decentralized teams, developing talent and mentoring direct reportsSkilled leader of third-party partners with expertise negotiating vendor contracts for all aspects of exhibits, travel management and meeting planningAbility to travel (up to 30%), and work overtime and irregular hours as needed to support business needsSkillsInnovative and creative thinker: pioneer who embraces bold ideasTeam player: high EQ, low ego, resourceful, frugal; treats resources as their own"Let's go" attitude: optimist, contagious enthusiast, sees the upsideAccountability matters: drives for results as coach and team player; bias to outcomesExhibits aptitude: always learning and growing; constantly attempts new experiencesAdaptable: works quickly and nimbly; able and willing to wear multiple hats without hesitation; resilientGrit: passionate, self-directed and motivated; demonstrates enduranceAdditional InformationIn 2022, Verisk received Great Place to Work Certification for our outstanding workplace culture for the sixth year in a row and second-time certification in the UK, Spain, and India.
