  Marcum Technology has an immediate opening for a Technology Sales/Business Development Executive. They are seeking qualified experienced and regional Business Development Executives to identify new logos, help sell the Technology Solutions, Products and Services that Marcum Technology customers have grown to rely on. We are looking for Salespeople that have strong connections that will effectively hunt and open new logos around technology and services.

  The ideal candidate must have immediate C-level and IT decision making connections, and have at a minimum 3+ years of proven sales experience in at least one of these areas:

  DIGITAL ADVISORY SERVICES: RPA/Intelligent Automation, Blockchain, Data Analytics, ERP automation (eg Sage, Intacct, Acumatica, Planful, Vena), and Financial Solutions,INFRASTRUCTURE SOLUTIONS & SERVICES: Infrastructure Design & Engineering, Cloud Services, Wireless and Mobility Services, Managed Cybersecurity, Endpoint Detection and IT Services, Telecom Optimization, and IT Staff AugmentationSTRATEGIC IT CONSULTING: Strategic IT assessments, CIO/CTO as a Service, Digital Transformation, Enterprise System Selection, IT Due Diligence and Restructuring, M&A IT Integration and Strategic IT Road MappingCYBERSECURITY & DIGITAL FORENSICS: Cybersecurity Assessments, Testing & Simulations, Cyber Forensics, Third-Party Vendor Governance, Information Security Policies and Procedure Development, Incident Response and Crisis Management, Business Continuity and DisasterRecovery, Regulatory Compliance Readiness Testing, Secure Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity Program Road Mapping and CISO Advisory Services.

  The sales executives will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Often tasked with giving presentations, attending networking events, and attending trade shows, it's essential that our sales rep be personable and professional.

  Travel will be required.

  Responsibilities and Objectives:

  Will be a "hunter" type and responsible for new business development and onboarding new logos to the firmRepresent our company's products and services, starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding and following with consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needsMeet weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tacticsGenerate leads and build relationships planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outletsDevelop and implement territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the fieldDaily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunitiesIdentify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales cal s, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offeredPossess in-depth knowledge of all service and solution offerings and be able to coordinate demos and relay objection handlingPrepare professional, complete, concise and accurate reports, proposals, booking packages, and other documentation as required for executive-level presentationsAchieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following and defined selling process with potential buyers, often utilizing product demos and presentationsCoordinate with other sales reps to ensure company quotas and standards are being met, performing market research and regular competitor monitoringRequired:

  3-5 years in sales within a technology and service industry settingExcellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skillsProficiency with sales management software and CRMAbility to build trust in customers by presenting offerings with confidence and integrityPreferred Qualifications:
