  The role we are offering you:

  We are seeking an experienced leader to strengthen our Contracts team in Ottawa or Montreal. In this position, you will be responsible to oversee the contract management function for new business opportunities and current programs. This individual will be a key member of the Canadian Defense and Security team and lead a team of contract managers and negotiators in multiple locations, ensuring alignment with global policy and legal compliance. We are looking for a professional with inherent leadership qualities, and the attention necessary to ensure contractual obligations are met. You must have solid communication, analytical and people management skills.

  Duties and Responsibilities

  Oversee Contract Management of bids, proposals, and in-execution programs.

  Manage the negotiations of contracts.

  Develop, plan, and implement commercial plans and strategies.

  Providing leadership, direction, and guidance to sales, capture managers, and program managers.

  Manage existing client, contractor, and other stakeholder relationships.

  Establish and manage long-term relationships with new contractors and other stakeholders.

  Track, measure, and analyze commercial metrics.

  Coordinate with other departments to facilitate contract management.

  Assist in the setting of financial targets and the development of program budgets.

  Qualifications

  10 years in a similar role and business complexity.

  Previous experience working for a business with the Government of Canada as a client or in the aviation industry. Having a background in both environments would be an asset.

  Extensive experience in managing customers, suppliers and/or subcontractors in complex programs.

  Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  Strong leadership, communications, interpersonal, decision-making, judgment, and problem-solving skills.

  Strong business acumen.

  Be able to hold a Government of Canada Security Clearance (Secret level).

  Be able to hold Government of Canada site/information access certifications, including accessing Protected “B” information, Controlled Goods Clearance, and ITAR Clearance.

  Eligible to work in Canada.

  Strong oral and written English language capabilities.

  Fluency in French would be an asset.

  Nous recherchons un leader expérimenté pour renforcer notre équipe chargée des contrats à Ottawa ou à Montréal. À ce titre, vous devrez superviser la fonction de gestion des contrats pour les nouvelles occasions d’affaires et les programmes en cours. Cette personne sera un membre clé de l’équipe Défense et sécurité au Canada et dirigera une équipe de gestionnaires de contrats et de négociateurs dans plusieurs emplacements, en veillant à l’alignement sur la politique mondiale et à la conformité juridique. Nous recherchons un professionnel doté de qualités de leadership inhérentes et de l’attention nécessaire pour garantir le respect des obligations contractuelles. Vous devez posséder de solides compétences en matière de communication, d’analyse et de gestion de personnel.

  Tâches et responsabilités

  Superviser la gestion des contrats pour les appels d’offres, les propositions et les programmes en cours d’exécution.

  Offrir du mentorat et de l’accompagnement à chaque membre de l’équipe.

  Gérer et examiner les négociations, la structuration et la gestion des contrats.

  Élaborer, concevoir et mettre en œuvre des plans et des stratégies commerciales.

  Assurer le leadership, la direction et l’orientation des équipes des ventes, des gestionnaires des occasions d’affaires et des gestionnaires des programmes.

  Gérer les relations existantes avec les clients, les sous-traitants et les autres parties prenantes.

  Établir et gérer des relations à long terme avec les nouveaux sous-traitants et les autres parties prenantes.

  Suivre, mesurer et analyser les indicateurs commerciaux.

  Assurer la coordination avec les autres services pour faciliter la gestion des contrats.

  Contribuer à la fixation des objectifs financiers et à l’élaboration des budgets des programmes.

  Compétences et expérience

  10 ans d’expérience dans une fonction similaire pour une entreprise de complexité équivalente.

  Expérience préalable au sein d’une entreprise ayant le gouvernement du Canada pour client, utilisant les clauses et conditions uniformisées d’achat (CCUA) ou dans le secteur de l’aviation. Expérience dans les deux environnements, un atout.

  Vaste expérience de la gestion de clients, de fournisseurs et de sous-traitants dans le cadre de programmes complexes.

  Excellentes aptitudes d’organisation et de gestion du temps.

  Solides compétences en matière de leadership, de communication, de relations interpersonnelles, de prise de décision, de jugement et de résolution de problèmes.

  Solide sens des affaires.

  Expérience des normes américaines FAR et DFARS, un atout.

  Capacité à détenir une autorisation de sécurité du gouvernement du Canada (OTAN/niveau Secret II).

  Capacité à détenir des certifications d’accès aux sites et aux renseignements du gouvernement du Canada, y compris l’accès aux renseignements de nature « Protégé B », l’autorisation pour les marchandises contrôlées et l’autorisation de l’International Traffic In Arms Regulation.

  Admissibilité à travailler au Canada.

  Solides capacités linguistiques en français et en anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.
